Settings now save themselves, flag a wrong value before it counts, and travel with you in a backup file. The challenge screen is easier to get through honestly and easier to walk away from, and the Weekly Review now tells you what to change next.

Settings save themselves
The Save Settings buttons are gone. Every change saves about half a second later, and the header shows “Saving…” and then “Saved”. Before, sites saved instantly but everything else waited for a button.
A real switch for Schedule
The schedule used to turn on when you expanded its panel, so collapsing it quietly turned blocking hours off. It now has its own on/off switch, like Intention pause.
Mistakes are marked as you type
On the challenge screen, the part you have typed is dimmed, the next character is underlined, and a typo is marked in red, so you no longer hunt for it by eye. The site and your stated reason stay visible while you type.
Fields that explain themselves
Number fields show their unit (min, sec, hours) and allowed range. A value out of range is flagged under the field instead of being silently changed. The access window has 5/10/15/30-minute presets.
Paste a list of sites
Add several domains at once, separated by commas or one per line. ResistGate tells you what it blocked, what was already blocked, and what it could not read. One-click Quick add chips cover common distractions, and a filter appears once your list passes eight sites.
Choose how long you need
Pick a 5, 15 or 30-minute window before the challenge. A shorter window than your default means a lighter challenge; a longer one means more typing.
A way out on every step
Go back from any step, change your mind after earning access with “Actually, never mind”, or choose “Not now, remind me in 10 min”. Every exit counts as a resisted visit, and a new line shows how often you went back today. Manual override can now be cancelled, and Enter and Esc work as shortcuts.
Today, at a glance
The top of Settings shows today’s blocked attempts and the site that tried hardest, on the Free plan too.
Back up and restore your settings
Export your blocklist, reminders, and settings to a file, and import them after a reinstall or on another computer. A backup never carries your plan or an active lock.
Pro
A Weekly Review that tells you what to change
See when your urges hit by hour, how often the gate held on each site, and one recommended change you can apply with a single button.
Commitment Mode asks properly
Before a lockout starts, ResistGate shows exactly when it will end and asks you to type LOCK.
Fixed
Changes no longer snap back
Adding a site while another change was unsaved could reset that change. Settings you are editing now stay put.
No more surprise weekday blocking
Unchecking every schedule day used to save Monday to Friday without telling you. ResistGate now asks you to pick at least one day.
Earn-Access keeps your work
Finishing the challenge faster than the Earn-Access minimum used to reload the page and discard everything you typed, with no message. Continue now counts down and waits instead.
An honest challenge screen
Quit no longer reloads the page and inflates your blocked-visit count, error messages now appear where you can see them, and access conditions read “Free access after 5:00 PM — or earn it now” instead of implying the site is closed.
Clearer charts and reports
A rising discipline score is shown in green instead of as a warning, report dates are readable, and the challenge progress bar no longer shows 100% before you type.
